Kara Krystina received her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1998. In law school, she participated in coursework at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California and studied abroad at the Inns of Court School of Law in London, England. The Rhode Island Supreme Court certified her to practice law under the supervision of the Office of Attorney General, she co-founded the Pennsylvania Law Society, became its President and held the office of Vice-President of the Criminal Law Society.

Her most notable achievement, receiving the CALI EXCELLENCE FOR THE FUTURE AWARD.


Kara Krystina attended the University of Scranton and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications, a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Minor in criminal justice. While attending the University of Scranton, she made the Dean's List, was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, Intl. Honor Society in History, a member of Alpha Epsilon Alpha, Honor Society in Communications, was the Freshman class Secretary/Treasurer and was a President's Royal Ambassador.



After becoming licensed to practice law, Kara Krystina set out to establish a career in legal education.  In 2000, she began teaching legal courses. In 2011, Dallas Community College District recognized Kara Krystina for her tenure with the school and for the instruction she offered students enrolled in business law.  Today, Kara Krystina continues her career in legal education as a business law professor.


Kara Krystina is the author of Tax Deduction Strategies, Simply Stated, Creative Tax Strategies For Creating Financial Freedom, Creative Tax Strategies For Young Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses and Tax Deductions For Entrepreneurs.


The highly-acclaimed publishing company in education, Delmar Cengage Learning acknowledged Kara Krystina in the book, Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Law: A Preventative Approach, 7th Edition.

Success From Home magazine recognized Kara Krystina with fellow entrepreneurs twice and Success magazine featured her “Entrepreneurial Spirit” and profiled her business endeavors.
